Pray for Camp!

Thanks to those who have kept camp on their prayer list. We are grateful and appreciative.

Pray for the following:

● Continued spiritual growth for campers 

● Continued site protection during winter storms 

● Safety for caretakers checking camp property throughout the winter 

● Well-attended church presentations and small group meetings 

● Staff and camper recruitment 

● Missionary Jenny Johnson serving in Guatemala 

Mid-Winter Camp Prayer Requests

Please Pray:

- We have a board meeting this Saturday Feb 2.

- Pray as Danielle and team visit churches and do camp presentations

- Visiting camp fairs and setting up a booth to recruit campers - pray for lots of campers!

- Setting up "home campfires" - small groups in homes for camp presentations where campers can bring their friends to hear about camp.

- Pray for Danielle, Nancy and Dianne as preparations are underway

Pray for Rachel Everswick: She will be getting a cardiac catheterization and procedure done to widen some of her heart vessels on Thursday. Rachel helps with all the activity preparations for Camporees. Please keep her in your prayers.

Pray for lots of campers

As we grow near to opening up registration, pray that many campers will come and have an amazing experience at camp next summer!

Cheryl Jansson has gone home to be with the Lord

Our precious Cheryl (she led the worship during Mother/Daughter) has gone to be with the Lord after her battle with cancer. Today is her funeral at Island Christian Church in Northport. A memorial service will also be held at Island Christian Church in Port Jefferson on Monday evening. Pray that many will give their lives to the Lord either for the first time or renew their commitment to him.

Pray for Marilyn Decker

We received word that one of our former volunteers (Marilyn Decker) who was on the weekend committee and on the scholarship committee has breast cancer. She is starting chemo this week. We know that God can heal Marilyn. Pray that God will give the doctors wisdom and that Marilyn's family will be a strong encouragement to her.

PRAY FOR THE CAMP PROPERTY DURING THE WINTER MONTHS
Pray that God will protect the property during these months when few are around.
Pray for our leadership as we plan for next year and make critical decisions regarding our program and facility.

PRAY FOR OUR MISSIONARIES
Let's all pray for the Owen family (Peggy and Barry) as they minister in Taiwan.

PRAISES:
Camp has been put to bed for another year. Thanks to the many volunteers who make this possible.
The Rifle platform has a new steel roof on it. Thanks to the two groups of volunteers who started it and then finished it.

Pray for Cheryl Jansson

Cheryl Jansson has been fighting breast cancer over several months. At one point (when Cheryl came and did the music for Mother/Daughter) she was in remission. Recently the cancer has shown up in her brain and also in the spinal cord. Please be in much prayer for Cheryl as she goes through radiation treatments. Cheryl is on Caringbridge.org. Prep of Teams for Church Presentations

Time has come to set up church presentations. Our teams are preparing to go to various churches and do a camp night for their group. Pray that God will bless this effort to inform churches and families of camp opportunities.

This week pray for Barry and Peggy Owen who serve in Taiwan.

FINANCES
Pray that God will meet all our on-going expenses in the Off-season... our year-end financial obligations/Beginning of new fiscal year.
